We Need Your Help for the Annual Point-in-Time (PIT) Count

Marion County is helping to raise awareness that The Mid-Willamette Valley Homeless Alliance is looking for volunteers to participate in a Point-in-Time Count.

The Point-in-Time (PIT) Count is an annual, nationwide event that provides a snapshot of homelessness in our community, which isn't possible without volunteers like you!

Over three days, volunteers will go to designated locations throughout the Marion County region to conduct face-to-face interviews with people experiencing homelessness. Volunteers will use the Counting Us mobile app to conduct predetermined surveys that gather demographic information about these individuals. Volunteer training will be offered

VOLUNTEER TRAINING is Tuesday, January 10! The days of the count are January 24, 25, and 28, with morning and afternoon shifts available.

Please consider being a part of this important work.
